Episode 216: You Were Made for More than Netflix and Oreos


Life can be hard, life can be sad, life can be overwhelming… and in our culture the first thing we hear is that as moms, we need to "self-care," and "treat ourselves," etc.But is that what we're doing? Are we TAKING CARE OF OURSELVES (literally, self care) the right way or are we numbing ourselves. I don't know about you but I have never felt better in the LONG TERM from falling face first into a pint of ice cream when I've had a hard day. And at this stage of the game with three little boys under five, there are plenty of "hard days." I'm telling myself this just as much as I want to discuss it with you. We were made for more.
